     United States National Anthem performed by Cabool Community Choir

     Presentation of the Colors – United States Color Guard- Fort Leonard Wood, MO

     Opening prayer-  Reverend Brad Ellsworth

     Welcome- Mayor Edwin Hardy

      Covenant Signing/Musical accompaniment – Cabool Community Choir

      Introduction of speaker – Mayor Hardy

      Speaker – General from Fort Leonard Wood

      Proclamation – Don Wells, 147th  District State Representative

      Special Music – Cabool Community Choir

      Moment of Silence

Main Street – Cabool

 

Special events planned by Cabool Area Chamber of Commerce including street vendors and family and children’s activities beginning at 10:00 a.m.

 Cabool High School Gymansium

Health Fair sponsored by Texas County Memorial Hospital will be held from 8 a.m. until noon

Community Blood Cener of the Ozarks Bloodmobile will be in conjunction with the health fair.

Cook Field

Air Evac will have a helicopter on display on  Cook Field

Main Street – Cabool

 

Special events are planned by Cabool Park Board and Cabool Area Chamber of Commerce including street vendors, inflatables for children, special military exhibits and family and children’s activities beginning at 9:00 a.m.

 

 

T-shirt shoot  outFree t-shirts will be air-cannoned on Main Street throughout the day.

Patriotic Cake will be created and served on Main Street. Michelle Julian, Kansas City cake decorator and designer will build the cake and share it with all those in attendance. 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Craft and Food FairVendors will display wares on Main Street throughout the day.

21st Century Learning Grant tent activities – Free children’s crafts will be available from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Inflatables and rides for children – Free children’s action activities including the two-man joust, spacewalk, jump house, rock climb slide, 2 man bungee run, wizzer, rock wall, rock and roll twist and vortex

Turtle race – Children can bring turtles and race for prizes 11:00 a.m.

Carnival games – Children can experience the thrill of old-fashioned carnival games 1:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m.

Clown activities-  Sparkie Da’ the clown and Merry Mary will entertain children with free face painting, games and other clown activities

Queen City Dance Band- Big band music and swing dancing will take place from 3:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Killin’ Time Country Music – Country music and square dancing will take place from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

 

Ozark Street -  Cabool

 

Independence Parade beginning at 1:00 p.m. will feature the Patriot Guard Riders, military vehicles, the National Guard Band, Fort Leonard Wood Color Guard, vintage cars, trucks, tractors, and floats and other entries.

 

National Guard Band Concert beginning at 3:00 p.m. at The Wall That Heals in Mitch Carmack Stadium.

Closing Ceremony begins at 6:00 p.m.

Non-denominational church service begins at 7:00 p.m. sponsored by the Cabool Ministerial Alliance

     Speaker – Clebe McClary, Vietnam veteran

Fireworks salute at 9:00 p.m. at Mitch Carmack Stadium

 

Main Street/Frisco Street

Freedom Celebration fireworks display sponsored by Cabool Park Board begins at 9:45 p.m.
